Esmeralda Costales - CEO / Founder

Ecuador forest of clouds was registered in 2017, the founder has been working since 1991 on the project.  She is the grand-daughter of an Ecuadorian hero, General Melchor Costales who helped to overthrow the dictator General Eloy Alfaro the president and leader of the liberals who caused conflicts with the Ecuadorian populations. 

Esme is currently studying Ecuadorian law at UTPL in Ecuador by distance learning. She is an entrepreneur and has been self-employed with experience in land management and finance. 

Her interests are in conservation and environmental protection, with a particular focus in Ecuador and globally.

 Dr Sarah Deacon - Research, Innovation, Marketing & Fundraising

Sarah studied a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry with Analytical Chemistry, a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology and a Post-graduate Certificate in Professional Innovation Management. Sarah is an entrepreneur, she has over 18 years experience in academic research and teaching with prestigious UK Universities, she is experienced in writing and managing grants and has additional experience in marketing and business development.

​She is passionate about species conservation and biodiversity, reducing deforestation and increasing natural forests for CO
2 reduction, protection of the worlds cloud forests and identification of novel natural medicinal products.

Mrs Jenny Hutchinson - Web development

Jenny studied art at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, she is a feelance artist and designer.

She is famous for designing and airbrushing the jacket work by rapper Drake when he rapped "I'm going to give Halle Berry a baby and no-one can stop me." reaching millions of views on Twitter.

Jenny is passionate about carbon offsetting projects, conservation and ethical ecotourism.
